From Tommy Tatum – Eyewitness to January 6, Still Fighting for the Truth

To every single one of you who’s donated, prayed, shared, or just taken time to read my story — thank you from the depths of my heart. Because of you, I’m still breathing, still publishing, and still fighting to expose the truth they tried to bury with me.

Since January 6, 2021, I’ve lived through things most people couldn’t imagine. I watched Rosanne Boyland die beside me — not from a drug overdose, but from police gas, trampling, and a brutal beating by Officer Lila Morris. I was nearly killed myself. Then I was hunted down by Biden’s DOJ three years later and charged with a felony… for quoting Scripture.

“I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.” That’s what they arrested me for.

I’ve been homeless. I’ve lived off donations and grace. I’ve battled untreated injuries, severe PTSD, and the crushing weight of being silenced — all while continuing to release bodycam footage, testify about Rosanne’s death, and support other J6 defendants.

I’ve never taken a dime for the evidence I’ve published. I never will. But I do need help to survive.

The only time two January 6ers told the truth in court—and one of them was me. I had never met Brian Mock. But I believe God chose me for this moment.

In a rare and extraordinary moment during the January 6 trials, two defendants were allowed to testify truthfully about what happened that day—not the DOJ’s rehearsed narrative, but the raw, horrifying reality. One of those witnesses was me. My name is Tommy Tatum. I had never met the defendant Brian Mock before I stepped into that courtroom. But I waived my Fifth Amendment rights to testify, not for politics or recognition, but because I believe God ordained me to speak the truth about what I saw. I made a vow to tell the world what happened to Rosanne Boyland—and in that courtroom, I kept my promise.

"I wasn’t supposed to testify. But I had to. Because someone had to say her name."

I remember everything. The feeling in the air. The chaos. The gas. The screaming. The violence—unleashed first by the police.

"And in the first few seconds of when all this happened, I felt like -- and I tell everybody I know I felt like this -- what my emotion was. Within the first three seconds, I thought the cops were killing everybody. They were literally squaring off, super aggressive, telling people to come at them like this, punching people, hitting them with sticks in every direction I could look."

This wasn’t defense. This was provocation. It was psychological warfare. And then it turned physical.

"It was also very surreal because behind the police lines, anti-election theft protesters are just walking and cops are not worried about them at all. But the next guy is getting hit in the head with a stick."

Officer Thau: The Gas That Broke the Line

The name that will stay with me forever is Officer Thau. It was Thau who made the decision that unleashed chaos on the West Terrace.

"And when the line broke, it broke because Officer Thau had saturated the air with OC spray causing -- so much OC spray that it forced the police to retreat."

The air became unbreathable. People began collapsing. That’s when the panic spread. That’s when Rosanne was crushed. That’s when I ended up trapped beside her.

"At about 2:25, I reached the lower west terrace. I saw cops tear-gassing people, and then falling back. They left the tunnel open. No barrier. No warning. And we were crushed inside."

"I was trapped beside Rosanne Boyland for the last eight minutes of her life."

The crowd wasn’t violent. The violence came from the police. The tear gas. The clubs. The fists. The retreat that created the pile that crushed Rosanne.

"When I witnessed Rosanne's murder, I was right beside her eight minutes. The entire time the police never stopped spraying us with OC spray, hitting us with sticks, throwing people into us... People are screaming, I'm dying. Help. I can't breathe. I can't breathe."

She was unconscious. Then she was dead. Then she was beaten.

"Yes. I witnessed D.C. Metro cop Lila Morris murder Rosanne Boyland on January 6 while she was already bleeding and unconscious laying on the ground."

They tried to strike it from the record. But I made sure it was heard.

"THE COURT: Science fiction or what is the objection? MR. JONES: At a minimum, relevance, basis of knowledge. THE COURT: He said he witnessed -- THE WITNESS: I was right beside her for the last eight minutes of her life, sir."

Brian Mock Was Representing Himself—and We Spoke the Truth to Each Other

This trial was unique. Brian Mock acted as his own attorney—a per se defendant. And because of that, something powerful happened. For the first time, two January 6ers were allowed to tell the truth. Not just in testimony—but in conversation, back and forth.

"So when the video -- my video starts is when I think to record. Yeah, I have an instinct to get to this man on the ground that's being beaten by cops 20 or 30 feet in front of me. It's my human instinct to see a man getting beat to death like Rodney King, you want to help him."

We told the truth:

That the police instigated the first violence

That there were no warnings or signs

That elderly, disabled, and peaceful people were targeted

That the police retreated—intentionally—creating a deadly crush

That Rosanne Boyland was murdered while we screamed for help

"At one point during the video, someone steps on my shoes, and I fall down. So I'm afraid I am going to fall down again... I was afraid and, you know, I just reacted."

Why I Did It

"Really my main goal, sir, is to report the death of Rosanne Boyland that was murdered on January 6. That's my goal for all of this. If you want to know my motivation, that is exactly it, and it's been my motivation since January 7. I have called the FBI repeatedly. They hang up on me. I offered them all this."

I had nothing to gain. I wasn’t a co-defendant. I had never met Brian Mock. But I made a promise to God, and He opened the door to keep it.

_"I want to help everybody that day that was done wrong by this government... but Rosanne is the reason."

They tried to shut me down. They tried to twist my words. They tried to bury my testimony.

But it’s on the record now. And the truth is coming.

There’s no other way to say it: we’ve been infiltrated. And not just in some far-off bureaucratic backroom — I’m talking about right in the heart of Texas. While our government funds drag shows for the troops and turns law enforcement into a joke, Islamic supremacist networks have quietly laid the foundation for a literal stronghold.

You think I’m exaggerating? You think this is just another “conspiracy theory”? You must be new here.

They call it “Epic City.” Sounds like a theme park. But it’s not. It’s a mega-mosque and Islamic power hub, disguised as a “diverse housing development,” backed by groups with proven terrorist ties, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and Hamas front operatives.

Don’t take my word for it. The largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history was held right there in Dallas, Texas. The Holy Land Foundation was exposed for funneling millions of dollars to Hamas. That’s not speculation, that’s legal precedent — and the same network of players is still in operation today.

I forgot to mention that as a result of the donations and prayers I was able to afford to attend after finding a very specific trauma therapy right here in my hometown. 

Without you guys' help,I would not have been able to do that. And my PTSD is getting meaning I am no longer having such drastic ups and downs a million times a day extremely intensely. It was a nightmare of a teeter-totter. 

Also, I left a nugget of truth here in that picture. If it turns out to be 100 percent accurate then you guys would be some of the first in the world to see that name in association with what it is associated with. 

I think that famous "pipe bomb" suspect is actually 3 or 4 people working together. 

Since its impossible to define something plural in terms of singularity it creates a mind trap they run to control speech and thought to hide the truth. 

Thank you all so much for helping me, as you know things are looking better since the election and my trial was postponed to June 11th, so it probably will never happen. Although after I didn't take a plea offer the government hit me with a superceding indictment as punishment. 

I will always fight for the truth about that day to be known by the American people, and for the future generations to come.
