My brother, Isaac Yoder was peacefully present at the January 6th rally in Wasington DC. This August he has been sentenced to 12 months in prison plus 12 months of parole and a fine. He (as of August 31st) does not know what day he will start his sentence, but it is supposed to start soon. This campaign is to help support his wife Kelly and three children while he will obviously be unable to work and provide income for his family. Isaac is a locksmith and his wife Kelly stays home caring for and homeschooling their 3 children.
May God bless you for your caring and generosity in giving. Let's all pray that this trial will not in vain, but that it will bring more awareness to the corruption in our government, elections and judicial process. Also that Isaac will be able to be a light and wittness for the Lord while in prison and for comfort, protection and stength for the family during this time.
Update #4 from Kelly February 8, 2024
We have finally reached the 4 month mark! Isaac has been staying busy with his woodworking job and his studies. He just completed and passed his GED.🥳🎉 He was told he recieved the highest test score in social studies they'd ever had at that prison. The Corrections Officer joked and said there must be something to this homeschooling thing.😄 The children and I have visited every weekend (minus 1 due to sickness) and Holiday thus far which has been a huge blessing. We are hoping he will be allowed early release due to good behavior and the First Step Act. Not sure of any dates yet but will update once we hear anything. We are so thankful for all the prayers and generous donations by everyone who has contributed. It means so much to Isaac, me and our family.
Update #3 November 24, 2023
This is from Kelly, so far Kelly and family and Isaac's mom are the only people who have been approved to visit him.
Just wanting to finally give an update and extend our gratitude and appreciation to all of you! Yesterday marked 50 days that Isaac has been gone, and although it has been hard and strenuous in many ways, we are still so blessed and feel God's grace and goodness to us in the midst of this trial. Yesterday on Thanksgiving, the children and I were able to visit with Isaac, which was such a treat! He told me he has been recieving many letters that have been very encouraging and uplifting. He seems to finally be adapting to prison life (as much as one could). He has a woodworking job inside the prison, and attends classes for school. He is finally learning algebra! 🙃 I joke and say I could help him and be his tutor.😉 (Although it's been quite a long time ago since I learned Algebra!🙈) But he seems to enjoy the classes, as they help make the time pass quicker.
The void is big as we approach winter, since we rely solely on wood heat. Our family has been such a blessing in helping cut, stack and haul wood for us so we can stay warm! Our church family and community have been so supportive and Isaac, the children and I have been so overwhelmed with the abundance of love and donations you all have contributed to us! Words don't seem adequate to express the deep appreciation we feel from all of your prayers, concern, and support! We are eternally grateful to all of you who have given and those who pray for us! Isaac said he feels God's safety, presence and protection inside the prison, and we know that is due to all the prayers.💛 May God continue to bless you all as you have blessed us!

Weekend Report October 3, 2023
Thank you to everyone who came to the gathering on Saturday. We had a wonderful time of prayer and support. A special Thank you to those who traveled from far, just to give support.
Sunday was a special service praying for Isaac and the family and our nation. Giving testimony and praising God. We are so thankful for the support of family, church family, local community and friends everywhere. In the midst of all the darkness God is working. It's looks like a tough year ahead, but we know God has a plan. Whether that plan is to free Isaac earlier or use him to be a wittness in the prison system, we will trust Him that he knows best and will care for all of us (whether inside prison or out).
Update #1 September 16, 2023
Isaac has been given a date of Oct 4th that he will have to turn himself in in Springfield. Thank you all for your prayers and support during this time.
Tomorrow Oct, 4th Isaac will be turning himself in. Please keep both him and the family in your prayers!
