The Rogers, Bogosian, and Mau families (all related) have lost everything in the devastating August 7th Lahaina Wildfire. Fueled by heavy winds, a small brush fire quickly turned into a nightmare that decimated the historic town of Lahaina. As of this writing, the Lahaina fire is the most deadly fire in modern US history. The families were able to escape with their lives and the clothes on their back but lost everything else.
The Rogers family is made up of Jan, Jeff, Kea, Ashly, and their 9-month-old daughter Skye-Anne. They have lived in their home for over 35 years and it was filled with priceless family heirlooms and photographs. Kea is a firefighter and continues to fight the fire that caused this devastation. He is determined to help his community recover from this tragedy.
The Bogosian family is made up of Nicole, Tyler, Riley (8), and Liam (4). They lived next door to the Rogers family and lost everything as well. Nicole is a cancer survivor and uses medical equipment daily to manage her condition. The fire destroyed the equipment, which she will need to replace in order to continue her treatment.
The Mau family is made up of Russ, Traci, Jordan, and Tayler. They owned the home that the Bogosian family lived in. This was the home where they grew up and it was filled with memories. Russ's parents lived in the home on the property and they also lost everything. The Mau family is devastated by the loss of their home and their belongings. They are grateful to be alive, but they are facing an uncertain future.
The fire has had a devastating impact on these three families. They have lost everything and are now facing an uncertain future. The Rogers, Bogosian, and Mau Family Fire Fund has been set up to help these families get back on their feet. Any donation, no matter how small, will be appreciated. Your donation will help these families rebuild their homes, replace their belongings, pay for medical expenses, and find a new school for Riley.
