Welcome to our tranquil learning garden. I am Jill Perez, the founder of Tranquil Teachings Learning Center.

As an educator of 20+ years, I followed my heart and began a new type of learning center; one focused on growing minds, mastering peace, and nurturing connections with our community.

Tranquil Teachings brings nature into the classroom, utilizing the environment as a great teacher. This mindset encourages our students to respect the natural world.

Overall, our goals for this educational endeavor are to value humanity by offering the following:

1) ACADEMICS: Bring learners together in a rich learning environment that honors and challenges the whole child. Make learning relevant, truthful and real by exploring quality curriculum and primary documents.

2) AGRICULTURE: Learn from nature to promote well-being, patience and critical thinking. Encourage learning that values curiosity, perseverance, peace and creativity.

3) AMERICAN SPIRIT: Teach honest American values that promote a solid foundation and depth in each subject matter. Establish a learning community that encourages respect, independent thinking and entrepreneurship.

Creating this learning center has been a labor of love. It has been a challenging endeavor, but it has been worth all the effort, time and resources. As we move forward with this vision there are many more expenses involved to upkeep our garden and property so that our children can continue to thrive.
