Dear Friends, Family, and Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
After my father’s passing this January, I felt called to return to Ukraine and continue serving here with joy and gratitude. The people of Ukraine are enduring so much in this time of war, yet I’ve been blessed to come alongside them — volunteering at two churches, helping with summer camps for children and people with disabilities, and distributing food and other urgently needed supplies while sharing the hope of the Gospel.
Recently, I’ve also been asked to begin a hockey ministry. This is especially meaningful to me, because years ago I came to know Christ through a missionary on my hockey team in Poland. I believe God is now calling me to use that same avenue to reach others here in Ukraine.
In order to serve effectively, I need reliable transportation. A vehicle — ideally with all-wheel drive to handle the harsh winters and damaged roads — would allow me to travel safely to ministry sites, deliver aid, and start a hockey ministry here in Kiev. Public transportation shuts down by 10:00 p.m., and with curfews in place, it simply isn’t possible to continue this ministry without a car.
I am asking first and foremost for your prayers — that God would provide this much-needed tool for ministry. And if the Lord places it on your heart to give, any contribution, no matter the size, would be a tremendous blessing. Every dollar goes directly toward serving our brothers and sisters here in Ukraine, who are deeply grateful for your kindness and support during these difficult times.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and generosity. May God bless you abundantly.
With love in Christ,
Todd
