Help Ryan with his battle with stage IV cancer

Campaign Created by: Audrey Baker

The funds from this campaign will be received by Audrey Baker.

Goal: USD $10,000
Raised: USD $ 675

Hello, my name is Audrey Baker. The love of my life, for the past 17 yrs, Ryan Kulvicki, was diagnosed with Stage IV Colorectal Cancer with Mets to the liver, in March of 2021. His battle began at the end of 2020 when the symptoms started. It's been a rough 2 years.

Ryan has had nine surgeries so far with his battle. Currently, he is recovering from a serious of unfortunate events. Ryan had a successful recession of his liver on October 7, 2022. He still needs to be tested to make sure they got it all. They ended up having to take his appendix and gallbladder, at the same time. The very aggressive cancer spread further than they originally thought. But the surgeon believes his liver grew back just fine.

Complications began with Ryan going septic a few weeks later. Resulting in him needing two major surgeries that week. He is still recovering from that. Most recently Ryan suffered a major heart attack right after Thanksgiving. They call it "The Widow Maker." He was so lucky to be in the procedure room when he flatlined. They installed a stint. He is still moving slower these days.

Ryan is such a fighter. I can't tell you how hard it's been for me to watch him throughout this long process. What he has concured. But I can tell you how proud I am of him. He is determined to beat this. He still is attached to tubes and knows he has more tests and chemo yet to endure. He spends everyday uncomfortable in more ways then any of us can imagine. Yet this man hardly ever complains.

Ryan hasn't been able to work throughout this process. Change in his insurance (no choice in the situation), makes some prescriptions not covered. There are many items Ryan requires for his medical needs, that are not covered or are affordable.

Ryan, his family and I, want to thank you all for your kindness and generosity, from the bottom of our hearts. Be it prayers and/or any donations.

Bless you

Update #1

Ryan has an issue the landed him back in the hospital. An air bubble in his chest and dehydration. He still needs to see his cardiologist on this. His weight is up to 142 lbs. He just recently had a PET scan and soon another blood test to see if he still has cancer. We should know if it is gone within a month. Ryan's full recovery is still as ways away. He still has at least one surgery more to go. His heart attack set that back by at least 6 months. But we're happy things are going in the positive direction. We are so grateful to have y'all praying for him. Thank you.
