Well, due to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Wetumka Housing Authority failing to understand the problems they have willingly created for their tenants, it looks like my mother and I will be homeless. We have been tenants for the Wetumka Housing Authority for about 16 years now, and have been facing eviction for about the last 12 years on some level.

This time it might actually happen due to C & C Pest Control in Henryetta, OK, and Wetumka Housing Authority not giving Clear and Accurate Written Instructions when it comes to dealing with bedbugs. This includes my mother and me attempting to follow what verbal instructions we were given. Despite attempting to follow these instructions, we were later accused of non-compliance and threatened with a $200 penalty.

The amazing part of all this is that C & C Pest Control in Henryetta, OK, will not use a heat treatment. Their go-to is just spray treatments and maybe a Bed Bug Steamer that will trip your breakers. They will then run to your executive director of the housing authority where you live and say the tenant didn't do what was explained to them, even though C & C Pest Control contradicted even what they told us tenants in a face-to-face conversation. In the end, it is what it is, I guess.
