Tom and Nicole Schaer of Duluth, MN have served the Lord Jesus sacrificially and helped others as home missionaries in pro-life ministries, pastoral work, and emergency foster care as well. During their time serving as emergency foster parents for 3 years they hosted over 150 children who needed a loving and supportive family environment. Tom and Nicole also have three beautiful children of their own that they have lovingly raised together. In April of 2022 Nicole was diagnosed with leukemia putting a pause to the life and ministry to which they were called. After 6 months of chemo-therapy, natural treatments, and lots of prayer, she was delivered to heaven instead of experiencing an earthly healing like so many had hoped.

Tom and Nicole have lived a life that truly exemplified what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this world. Nicole's passing means they are left with two less hands and two less feet. Anybody who had the honor of being touched by her life knows that those hands and feet are simply irreplaceable. Nicole's family is now facing new transitions that are yet to be determined. We now have an opportunity to serve this family by donating to support the expenses accrued as well as offering a financial foundation for more comfortable transitions. If it is put on your heart, please join us in giving back to a family that has dedicated their life to serving our Lord and Savior.
