For over fifty years I have walked beside families as a midwife, massage therapist, minister, teacher, and grandmother. Again and again, I have witnessed the same truth:

The world doesn't simply need more information.

It needs more kindness.

More gentle and undisturbed births.

More courage.

More wonder.

More people who know how to love well.

Those values have become the heart of my life's work.

Today I am creating Twitchabit Landing-a gentle woodland world where animals live timeless values through story instead of sermons. Alongside these books are greeting cards, coloring books, postcards, and whimsical card decks designed to encourage children, grandparents, teachers, homeschool families, libraries, and anyone who believes that beauty and goodness still matter.

At the same time, I am the full-time caregiver for my 97-year-old father. Caring for him is one of life's greatest privileges, but it has also made it difficult to earn the income needed to launch this publishing dream.

• Continue creating artwork, coloring books, and inspirational card decks.

I don't believe books change the world by themselves.
