Dear friends, family, and fellow patriots,

We come to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help as we navigate through a challenging chapter in our lives. Our beloved husband, father, and retired military fighter pilot, Eugene "Doc" Dougherty, has recently suffered a debilitating stroke that has left him unable to work and in need of extensive medical care.

Doc dedicated his life to serving our country, bravely defending our freedoms from the cockpit of an A-10 Fighter Jet. His commitment to duty and love for our nation have always been unwavering. Unfortunately, life has taken an unexpected turn, and he now finds himself facing a new battle – one that requires the support of his community.

The medical bills are piling up, and the financial strain has become overwhelming. Doc is currently in the hospital, undergoing rigorous rehabilitation to regain his strength and independence. While we focus on his recovery, we are humbly reaching out to you for assistance in alleviating the financial burden that comes with mounting medical expenses and the inability to work. We are working on securing at-home jobs where we can generate income while also taking care of his needs, but the financial situation is currently too emergent for this to be enough.

Your generosity will help cover essential bills, such as mortgage payments, utilities, and other daily living expenses, allowing us to concentrate on his recovery without the added stress of financial instability. Without your help, we are at risk of foreclosure on the house and repossession of the cars before he is even able to leave the hospital.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful impact on his journey towards healing. Your support will not only help alleviate the financial strain but also provide comfort and reassurance during this challenging time. Doc has dedicated his life to serving others, and now we turn to you, our extended community, for support.

Please consider making a donation to our GiveSendGo campaign and sharing our story with your network. We are hoping to find ways we all can pull together to help him overcome this unexpected hurdle.

Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and support.

With heartfelt gratitude,

The Dougherty Family
