My name is Christopher, and I’m a proud combat veteran who served in Afghanistan in 2009. During my service, I sustained injuries that have left me with lasting physical and mental challenges, including severe dental issues that now require dentures, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and much more. I’m currently in the long, grueling process of securing VA disability benefits, but the wait is taking a toll. Without dentures, everyday tasks like eating, speaking, and even smiling with confidence are painful reminders of what I’ve lost. I’m reaching out for your support to help me cover the cost of dentures so I can regain my quality of life while I fight for the benefits I earned. A cheap pair will cost around 900 dollars, and I hate asking for help, but I truly need it. My injuries from Afghanistan have made life tougher than I ever expected. The damage to my teeth means I struggle to eat nutritious food, and it’s hard to feel like myself when I can’t smile without embarrassment. Dentures would be life-changing, letting me eat properly, speak clearly, and face the world with dignity. I’ve explored VA dental programs, but I have to be 100 percent service-connected, and it’s hard telling if and when I will receive that and other resources. The process is slow, and I need help now to bridge the gap.
