My friend Christine is a warrior. She is a doula, a masseuse, a mother, a wife, a friend, an entrepreneur, and a loving Christian. She has spent her life caring for others. Now we want to care for her.

A few days ago she reached out and shared that she has cancer that has advanced to the point that it is life-threatening. Christine is now facing uncertainty, pain, chemo, radiation treatments and eventually, surgery. The weight of this unexpected turn in her health was shocking for her and her family, as you can imagine. She is not complaining or asking for sympathy but bravely fighting the battle ahead.

I thought about all of the medical bills associated with chemo and radiation, hospital stays, and surgeries. She and her family have insurance, but even with insurance, the out of pocket portion will be very expensive. Christine and her family are resilient and their faith is strong. Money alone will not change her situation, but it can alleviate the worry and stress of the mounting medical bills so she can focus on healing. We know through prayer God can do above and beyond all we could ever ask or think ~Ephesians 3:20. He is the great physician and our healer ~Luke 5:31. So, we would appreciate you joining your faith and prayers with ours for her complete healing. I hope together we can help ease some of her financial burdens that might prevent her from having the peace needed to heal.
