Josh and Amanda have been married for 9 years and have always wanted to be parents. Josh is a mail carrier and Amanda is a social worker. When they were dating, they talked about wanting to both have children and adopt children. After trying for 8 yrs, (being told they were just "stressed" and several procedures and surgeries later) they recently learned that they cannot have biological children. Though their journey to parenthood is turning out different than they expected, they trust in God's plan for their lives and started the adoption journey with Catholic Social Services. They recently submitted all paperwork, completed their home study, and completed parenting classes. The total costs for adoption will be about $20,000.00 or more depending on legal fees.
