The Knight-Elmer family needs your love and support to help Ashton stay comfortable with Mom, Dad, and sister Eula by his side as he begins his journey into the universe amongst his ancestors. 

Early February Ashton had a routine MRI to check on the shunt that was placed back in August, the family found out that his tumor was back. February 10th Ashton had surgery to have the tumor removed, recovery went well and Ashton began acting like a normal happy healthy Ashton. Mid April, Ashton started acting a little more irritable and needed more snuggles and cuddles. After a week, he started showing signs of weakness in his left side. While at an indoor playground he was struggling to crawl as his left arm kept giving out. Mom and Dad rushed Ashton to an ER where a rapid MRI took place, confirming the families worst fear. The tumor was back. A full MRI was done on April 24th results showing the tumor is more aggressive than before. In a week, it has doubled in size, wrapped itself around the brain stem, and has spread to his ear. Doctors broke the news that this is inoperable. 

Ashton is 4, and has only known the extreme love from his family and the support from the amazing team of Doctors and staff at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.

All donations will go towards travel and funeral expenses that are incurred by this. The Knight-Elmer family moved from Minnesota to Texas in 2021. Funeral will be held in Minnesota where the majority of family and friends are.
