I just called the nurse for an update.  He’s doing the same.  Uneventful night, which is good.  Specialists have been in to see him already.  

Still going to OR today for trach and g-tube placement, but no idea if time because they’ll just grab him when there is an open time.

No update yet from radiology on MRI or alternative scan, yet.

Additional surgery planned for today (or tomorrow) if there is open time in the OR to work on the facial fractures. 
As previously noted he has fractures in several bones on both sides of the nose and his orbital sockets.  
Also, I did not previously know, his jaw broken and is gonna have it wired shut.  
Radiology still needs to decide on MRI, for brain and neck, but for this it would not change the course of treatment for face, so they will do these repairs - again, as long as there is time open in the OR.

Surgeries and MRI proceeding today.
The wheeled him odd around 2:00 and he’ll have his series of surgeries today.  Estimated time = 7 hrs.
