Before anyone asks, yes my family is very well aware of my situation financially and no they either aren’t able to or are unwilling to help me. I’m in DESPERATE need of financial help. In the past eight years I’ve had a hysterectomy, a double mastectomy, three bouts with sepsis, MRSA, cellulitis, a lot of infections and complications from the aforementioned, my house burned down (I was severely injured with third degree burns), everything I ever owned was incinerated (so there’s nothing left for me to sell), I’ve been politically persecuted by the FBI, spent an astronomical amount of money on legal bills, spent two and a half years in third degree burn rehab, lost my medical insurance because I could no longer afford the premiums, and and I am struggling financially with all of this. If there is any hope for me to survive I need help now. I’m still paying off all my medical debts and it will take years until that’s done. Additionally, ten days ago after being unable to walk for two and a half months I finally saved up the $325 I needed to go see a foot specialist/podiatrist. Prior to that I had gone to Urgent Care which misdiagnosed me (twice!). I am not able to afford to continue with the podiatrist who correctly diagnosed nerve damage to both feet without a LOT of financial help. There is no help for me, and also no hope. I’d like to see a psychiatrist as well and get a proper diagnosis for depression and/or PTSD but that’s financially impossible right now. I have filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy to discharge the medical debt and also Social Security disability for the chronic pain from the scar and nerve damage from the third degree burns but both will take months to get through the system. In the past two people set up GoFundMe for me (without my knowledge and I immediately shut them down). But now I really AM in dire need of help financially. I dont squander my money, I scrimp and save every nickel, and I buy myself nothing other than the basics (food, my phone bill, and rent). I am asking for your assistance now so I am able to whittle down some of the debt and also to be able to pay the podiatrist and PT the $650 a month it’s going to cost me for treatment to me feet in addition to medications and physical therapy.
