truckersfinalmile.org is a 501 (c) (3) Charity organization with a distinct Mission: to reunite North American Truck Drivers and Their Family in Times of Crisis.
When a commercial truck driver is severely injured, experiences a sudden onset medical episode, or passes away out on the road away from home, truckersfinalmile.org helps in eliminating the burdensome costs the family may endure to bring their beloved truck driver home to be laid to rest, recuperate, or to recover to be able to get back to work.
Our organization also assists with mobility accessibility improvements to a truck drivers home in events of permanent disability. These improvements may include wheel chair ramp, lowering counter tops and such.
We also have an annual Christmas campaign for children that have lost a parent and a Chaplain on staff for grief consoling needs.
