I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to share something really personal about my mom.

A few months ago, she left an abusive relationship and was trying to rebuild her life when she was rediagnosed with cancer. On top of everything, the treatment she needs isn’t covered by insurance.

Right now, she’s unable to work because of her diagnosis, which means no income while medical bills continue to grow. Between treatment, medications, and travel costs to appointments, everything is out of pocket and adds up quickly.

It’s been overwhelming, especially since she doesn’t qualify for government assistance based on her past income. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do this alone anymore.

My mom is one of the strongest people I know, and she’s fighting so hard. We just want to support her through this and give her the best chance at healing.
