At 1:15 PM on February 20, 2021 Dad finished his race here on earth and is now in the arms of Jesus. I've left the orginal post below for why we started this page for mom.

Dear friends and family,
Hospice is saying that Tom/Dad is in the last stages of life. The nurse told us this morning, February 19,2021, that we may have two weeks left. However, we aren't sure he will be with us that long. His breathing has drastically changed, he is not eating and will drink only minimal amounts of fluids. He is in and out of sleep. He still knows who we are but can barely talk. We are doing our best to keep him comfortable and surrounding him with love. We are playing worship music and some of his favorite songs. We are talking with him about his life and the memories we have. It has been a special and precious time. While we continue to pray for healing, we have released him into God's hands. We are trusting His plan.
We are trying to work out details of things that need to be done now, before he passes, to help with this very difficult transition.
Eric and I have created this page for Mom/Kay in her name and are asking that in lieu of flowers or memorial gifts, that you make a donation to help cover the expense of Tom/Dad's service. Mom wouldn't want to burden anyone with her finances, but Dad does not have life insurance, so a donation is greatly appreciated to help cover the costs of the burial and celebration service.
We appreicate each of you and your heart for Dad and Mom, who have poured so much love, counsel, and friendship into all of our lives.
