I’m 18 years old and graduating high school on May 27th, with plans to leave for U.S. Navy basic training on June 15th.

Right now, I’m trying to raise $281 to pay a traffic citation that is due soon. I’m currently unemployed because most employers are hesitant to hire me due to my upcoming military ship-out date, which makes it very difficult for me to earn the money in time.

My family is already dealing with financial difficulties, and there isn’t support available to help cover this cost. I’m doing my best to find a way to raise the funds on my own so I can take care of this responsibly and stay on track with my enlistment.

I also want to be honest, I made a mistake by speeding, and I take full responsibility for it. I understand it was careless, and I’m trying to handle it properly so it doesn’t affect my plans to serve in the Navy.
