Greetings! Thank you for your continued prayers and support. I cannot do any of this without you. I mean this from the bottom of my heart I love you!
It is that time of the year again were the teams begin to prepare themselves for the next Missions Trip. This year being 2018!!! After what the Lord brought to fruition last year, this year there is even more exciting blessing to look forward to. I am not just speaking of my marriage, but we were blessed to receive an honorary key to the city of Ejura, as well as a street named after us for our diligent work. Work that never ends and I pray this year we will be blessed to touch even more of the unreachable in this beautiful country.
This year we will be abroad from August the 11th thru August the 31st 2018. The trip is funded entirely through donations and by the missionaries going. The cost of the trip is $3,600. This includes airfare, food, shelter, ground transportation, medical supplies, tracks to hand out, and other needs during the trip.
I am so excited to visit the Mampong orphanage where the children eyes light up when they spot a fair American women. Your heart begins to melt and you can’t help but want to take them all home! We sing and dance and laugh as we check on there progress and bring them some essentials including food and funds to aid with the orphanages monthly bills.
Then there is the schools where we minister at each year. There is The Lighthouse School of Missions and The Edrumane Complex. These children are just brilliant and well mannered it’s such a breathe of air. They love to run around and play and especially dance. So we have a praise party right there in the court yard!!
We also provide medical needs. Not as much as I pray we will be able to supply in the future. We do however supply enough to those who are ailing in the far villages. We measure blood pressure, temperature, weight and distribute medicine when needed.
This year we will be doing all of these things and more as we continue to reach the unreachable and share God’s Word and Love with them. I pray your heart is filled as you read this.
