Honoring the Life of Thomas Vaughner

Our family is asking for help as we prepare to lay our beloved T.C. to rest.

Thomas passed away at the age of 91, leaving behind a family that loved him deeply and a legacy that spans generations. He was a proud Air Force veteran and a truck driver for most his life . A father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

Thomas lived a life marked by both tremendous joy and heartbreaking loss. He experienced tragedies that would have broken many people. .

Through it all, he carried himself with a quiet strength and resilience that inspired everyone around him.

He was patient and wise. He loved sharing stories with anyone willing to listen. If you sat down beside him, chances are you’d hear a story from the road, a lesson learned somewhere along the way, or a memory that would leave you laughing. His laugh was unforgettable—loud, genuine, and infectious.

His father, “Bud,” lived to be 96. Thomas hoped he might do the same. While he didn’t quite reach that milestone, he lived a remarkable 91 years filled with love, perseverance, service, and family.

Thomas will be laid to rest with military honors at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery beside his beloved wife, Kaye.

We are raising funds to help cover final expenses associated with honoring Thomas’s life. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden on the Vaughner family during this difficult time.

If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please share this fundraiser and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for helping us honor a man who spent his life serving others, loving his family, and facing every challenge with courage, patience, and grace.

With gratitude,

The Vaughner Family
