Help Us Save Esther

At just one week old, our precious baby goat, Esther, developed an abscess in her neck. Since then, she has been through more than any little one should have to endure. Every two weeks, she has needed the abscess drained while we waited and hoped she would grow big enough and strong enough for surgery.

Now, at four months old, Esther has finally reached that milestone.

On July 17th, she is scheduled for a delicate and complicated surgery to remove the problem once and for all. Unfortunately, the abscess is located in an extremely dangerous area—right between her carotid artery and jugular vein—making this a very specialized procedure.

Despite everything she's been through, Esther remains a sweet, loving little girl with a fighting spirit. We are doing everything we can to give her the chance to live a happy, healthy life, but the medical expenses are more than we can manage alone.
