It's been very hard time for us, let me tell you why. My name is Jose Ivan Jerez Calvo, and I'm a pharmacy student at Universidad Latina in Costa Rica. But this isn't just about my journey – it's also about two people who mean the world to me: my father and myself.

My dad has always been there for me, working as a humble traffic light technician to get money for us. He never complained; he was just grateful that his kids had dreams they wanted to chase. But now, it's become harder than ever before. My university fees are very expensive – the cost for four months is from 1,000,000 to 1,400,000 colones (CRC). And with no spaces left in public universities like the university of Costa Rica and a limited budget, my father is doing his best but it's just not enough for only 1 person to pay a full university

Im going to share something deeply personal: I have borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and depression. It's been very tough for me i tried to leave early this world a lot of times But I push forward every day because of the love from my family and the pain that they were enduring just for me to see me happy. And that brings us to the second issue – my health. Regular appointments with a private doctor are crucial for managing my conditions, but getting one is next to impossible due to long waiting lists in public healthcare. My appointment is only four months away and yet here I am battling financial barriers just to secure medical care. i dont even have proper treatment for my conditions so is hard for me a lot of times, relapses for stress, live situacions

And then there's the debt issue at home. My father owes more than 1,200,000 colones (CRC) on his credit card due to our university payments and personal expenses, food, medicine for my grandmother. It’s a burden he carries every day and it hurts me deeply seeing him like this. I can see how much pressure weighs down upon him

That's why I am reaching out today. My heart is full of hope, but i dont have enough money If you could help us with just 2000000 colones (CRC), it would mean everyting to me and my father. This is just not for the degree this is about making sure that i have a future for me and my family.
