Dominic, our talented honor student, flag football quarterback player, actor with leading roles, and the greatest person you'd ever want to meet, greatest big brother, and a true little ray of sunshine who had just turned 13 began to suffer dizzy spells and headaches. One visit to the doctor lead to an immediate admission to LA Children Hospital for tests where Dominic was quickly diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer in September 2025. His life was turned upside down in a way that no one can imagine. His journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster filled with brain surgeries, and other surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. Dominic has been away from home and in hospitals ever since September 2025.
This brave young man has faced every challenge head-on, from surgery complications, long stays in the ICU, double vision, balance issues, all while battling the toughest opponent he could have ever imagined. His family, too, has been deeply affected—his mother by his bedside day and night for countless nights was no longer able to work, his father juggling work and Dominic's hospital care, and two siblings who've had their lives changed forever. All of them trying to hold it all together.
The reality of Dominic’s journey is overwhelming at times: Father's work had lay offs, he was kept on, but the work and demands have increased at this all difficult time and the job less secure so he keeps pushing onward juggling Dominic's care and an urgency to keep his employment, while financial challenges pile up, and the need to provide for many expensive therapies and talked about surgery for Dominic after chemotherapy. On top of this, and with housing costs soaring, they need to find new living arrangements this summer—a daunting task amidst ongoing treatment. By some miracle of God, I'd love to see them have a house they can call home.
That's where we come in. Today, I am asking you, our community of kind souls and generous hearts, for help. Your support could mean the world to Dominic and his family as they navigate these challenging times. Whether it’s spreading the word about their story for support and prayer, a one time contribution, donating monthly, or the extraordinary bonus gift to add Dominic as a beneficirary (for lifelong care in various ways). Every bit helps to meet the needs and make dreams come true.
Dominic has a wish to swim with Whale Sharks one day. It may take Dominic years to
gain sufficient health and coordination back, but eventually I'd love to see him make this very special vacation wish trip.
Dominic wishes his family can have their own home. I wish that for them too.
Every dollar counts," says Dominic's parents, "and knowing that people around us are supporting him gives us hope." For those of you that have been praying for Dominic, we are eternally grateful for your gift of love to share his need with your prayer partners and teams and church communities. This will not be forgotten. That's what this is all about—faith, hope and community coming together to lift a little one up when he needs it most. We believe and trust that Dominic will have a bright future, but he will need ongoing medical and theraputic services.
We believe in the power of support and community through a platform such as this. Your donation could mean better living arrangements for Dominic’s family, (a true home for him to come back to after treatment), and easing this family's burden as they care for him through thick and thin. Let's come together and show them that no matter what life throws at us, love conquers all.
This is more than just a fundraising effort; it’s about watching God move in the hearts of others showing Dominic that he has not been forgotten while the world passes by, that he is loved, valued, cherished, and joyful moments are possible for Dominic in his ongoing fight through cancer treatment and beyond. Dominic receives multiple blood and platlette transfusions after each chemo treatment and spends the majority of his time the hospital and in bed. He missed all of his first year of Junior High School and has been isolated from friends, and the friend groups that formed at the start of junior high, pulled out of all sports, absent all social life, away from his siblings, can't see his dog, and hasn't been home in months. Please pray for Dominic's spirits to be lifted as he is void right now of all the normal things for a 13yr old. Please join us to encourage Dominic and his family. Your support can help make every day brighter for this brave warrior and his family. Let's shower them with blessings and ease the pain of this very difficult time. And turns things around for a bright future.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for considering how you might be able to support them. Every bit counts, and together we are stronger.
