Hello family & friends, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to go on a summer mission trip to Thailand with my church, Faith Church! During this trip, we will serve communities impacted by poverty, displacement, and human trafficking. In Bangkok, we will work with unaccompanied minors from Afghanistan/surrounding regions, who are at high risk for exploitation. We offer English lessons, day camps, and time in community centers to offer gospel care and encouragement. We will also serve individuals affected by prostitution and human trafficking, to offer loving presence, compassion, and hope. In Chiang Mai, we will work specifically with Burmese women and children who have escaped trafficking and violence.

Why I Want to Go:

Jesus commands us to love our neighbor as ourselves and then commissions us to take the gospel to the world. I have a deep desire to live out my faith in a practical and hands-on way through outreach. I want to serve others through love, humility, and compassion, and reflect Christ in both my actions and attitude. This trip is an opportunity to step into that calling and allow God to use me wherever I am needed.
