Hello, my name is Ashley Esquivel. My Dad's name is Tim Wiese. Let me start off by telling you a little bit about Tim, my Daddy.
My Dad is an amazing man. He has always been here for me no matter what, no matter the situation. He has taken me and my family in and helped us out when we were struggling. He has helped us in so many ways, so many times, over the years. My Dad is my best friend and my hero.
Back in January, 2015 my Dad had a very bad stroke. Though it did not affect him physically, it did affect his cognizant reasoning and memory. After the stroke he was not able to return to work. He was out on sick leave for almost 6 months. When he was finally approved to go back to work, he struggled immensely. His memory was holding him back and making it difficult to carry out his every day responsibilities. He was at his company for 23 years. For 23 years he worked hard and diligently for a very large insurance company. So, instead of giving him time to improve, his company decided to fire him. No early retirement, no pension, nothing. Just fired him without a second thought and swept him under the rug.
With the loss of his income, the family is now struggling. On top of the overwhelming medical bills, we are struggling to pay our monthly bills and even getting the necessities. I have struggling with the idea of setting up this campaign and have prayed long and hard about it. I didn't want people to see it as "begging". My family and I are not very comfortable asking people for help. But, who better to ask for help than your brothers and sisters in Christ?
I want to thank you all for taking the time out to read this story. If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it will help out in such a huge way. We will forever be thankful and grateful. Thank you all, again.
