Several of us chipped in to file a petition to the MN Supreme Court to repair our election laws in Minnesota, but the Democrats just brought in the big guns from the swamp in DC to fight against our effort. Please help us raise $10,000 to fight back!
During this year's pandemic, Secretary of State Steve Simon asked the legislature to change election laws. Republicans and Democrats cooperated to pass bipartisan legislation and Governor Walz signed it into law. As a means of circumventing the legislative body, Steve Simon's liberal friends sued him in Court demanding changes to our absentee voting ballot laws of NOT requiring witness signatures. Simon quickly agreed to their demands and signed a consent decree that was filed with the MN Supreme Court.
With the help of the Courts, he unilaterally re-wrote MN election law and cut out the State Legislature, the body who has sole authority to write election laws!
A group of lawmakers, candidates, and conservative activists (MNEIT) have been working together since the election to file this Petition challenging Steve Simon. This group, led by Jose and Sandra Jimenez, include petitioners such as Tyler Kistner, Gene Rechtzigel, [Rep.] Steve Drazkowski, [Rep.] Jeremy Munson, [Rep.] Tim Miller, [Rep.] Calvin Bahr, Erik Mortensen, Dan Hall, Jose W. Jimenez, Sandra A. Jimenez, and Tomas Settell, just to name a few (36 in all).
