I’m reaching out because I’m in a difficult—but temporary—situation and could really use some support.

Two months ago, I made the decision to step away from my job to focus on creating more stability and long-term security for my daughter and me. During this transition, I’ve been waiting on my retirement funds to come through, but delays have left me behind on rent and essential bills.

As a single mom, my top priority is making sure my daughter has a safe and stable home. We’ve faced housing challenges in the past, and I’m doing everything I can to prevent that from happening again.

I’ve been actively applying for jobs while also building skills in business and digital marketing so I can return to work in a stronger position. I’ve reached out to churches and local organizations—while most are limited in what they can offer, I’m grateful that a few have provided small pledges of support.

Right now, I’m working to bridge this gap and avoid eviction. My deadline is May 1st, and I’m doing everything I can to secure stability before then.

My goal is to raise $5,000 to cover back rent and essential expenses during this transition. Any amount—no matter how small—or even sharing this would truly mean so much to us.
