Hey friends and family, my dad's chest has been bothering him for quite a few weeks so he had made an appointment with a doctor to run tests. After discovering there was a blockage he had to make another appointment for a later time, June 10, to run a cardiac catheterization test but after experiencing much pain a few days ago, June 2nd, my dad couldn't wait any longer and went to the ER. After running the cardiac catheterization and more tests on June 3rd, they discovered that all 3 arteries were blocked, and 1 of them completely blocked. Here’s the God part though, my dad is one of only 20% of the population with a 4th artery and that was helping keep his heart from any permanent damage. The severity of his situation was handled immediately and he was able to get into surgery for his triple bypass the next day, June 4th. The doctors are very pleased with how well he is doing post surgery. A lot of you have been asking how you can help, and we appreciate that so much. With medical bills coming, cost of medication, and time taken off of work that both my parents need to take, I've taken it upon myself to set up this fundraiser for them if anyone feels compelled to help.
