Alaska, here they come! This June 19-25, Olivia and Ava are headed on a mission trip to Kenai, Alaska, with Divine Art Institute and Vision for Eternity (V4E).
They’ll be part of a team that will be teaching art classes to local 6th-12th graders. The goal is to help local Kenai youth to discover that they are masterpieces fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator.
The invitation to go on this trip came just a few weeks ago—so it’s been a bit of a whirlwind! The girls were invited by their art teacher, Nichole Kluth, who owns and directs Divine Art Institute. Her husband, Eric, leads the local Casa Grande ministry V4E. V4E partners with missionaries to help them with what God is doing where they’re serving. Kenai missionaries Matt and Nicole Tirado reached out to V4E and asked if they could bring a team that focuses on art.
The girls will be traveling with a team of sixteen. In addition to daily art classes, the team will also work on a mural, build art kits for the lessons, and help with a big community outreach event.
If you are interested in financially supporting Olivia and Ava, they’d be super grateful! It is $1,500 per girl, which includes transportation, lodging, food, and ministry supplies. Your gift will make it possible for them to encourage the youth of Kenai, Alaska, with the truth of God’s love!
