Supporting young Chilean talent

🌟 Hello everyone,

I am Matias, 30 years old, from Chile, and since I was very young, I have worked hard and responsibly to move forward in life. That commitment has stayed with me over the years and has allowed me to stand out in my studies, build my professional path, and grow in areas I am deeply passionate about, such as soil fertility and fruit crops. Today, I work as an Agronomy professor at the Adventist University of Chile, in an Adventist environment that I truly value and where I continue growing academically, personally, and spiritually.

Throughout my journey, I have built my path with sacrifice, perseverance, and discipline. I have had the opportunity to take part in international experiences, including an internship in Cádiz, Spain, as well as presenting research and continuing to strengthen my academic training. Everything I have achieved has been the result of hard work, persistence, and the belief that it is always possible to go a little further. 🌍🇨🇱

However, I have also come to understand something very important: to truly learn English, it is often not enough just to study from home. The courses I have taken have helped me, and I am grateful for every step forward, but today I know clearly that I want to take my English to the next level. I have understood that I need to immerse myself in an environment where English is part of daily life, where I can hear it, practice it, and live it in a real way in order to make the leap I still need.

Many times, English has been the barrier standing between me and greater opportunities. I have had opportunities for academic and international collaboration, but I still feel that I lack that final push to communicate with real confidence and fully embrace the doors that have opened along my path. 😓

That is why I decided to apply to the English program at AIIAS in the Philippines, a serious and practical alternative that can help me move forward in an intensive way. I have already been in contact with Admissions, and I know that the program begins in August 2026, so this opportunity is both real and close. At this time of the year, there are also no open scholarship calls in Chile that would allow me to finance a program like this abroad, which is why I am turning to this form of support.

I want to make something very clear: I am not asking for money for flights, tourism, or personal expenses. Even though those costs are also high, I want to and I am able to cover them on my own. The only thing I am asking for support with is the tuition cost of my English program.

My request is only for education, because I know this preparation can open real doors for me to continue growing and contributing more through my work. My dream is not only personal. I want to give back everything I may receive today, not only to Chile, but also to the world. I want this effort to become more knowledge, more impact, more research, and more service. I want to contribute through the human capital I continue to build, and I am convinced that this investment will return in the form of work, commitment, and meaningful support for others.

I say this sincerely: in the future, I will likely be able to help Chile, my students, my colleagues, and perhaps even some of you with the human capital I am striving to strengthen today. If you decide to support me, I promise that you will hear about me and what I achieve with your help. I do not want this to be seen as an expense, but as a real investment in someone who has worked since childhood, has always tried to stand out, and wants to keep growing in order to serve better.

I also want to give peace of mind to those who may choose to support me. If you would like to know more about my background, my academic results, my studies, my current work, or the program I will attend, I would be happy to share that information. And once I complete this process, I will also be willing to share my progress and completion of the program, so that you can be sure your support was not money wasted, but rather concrete help that produced real results. ✅

Today, I dare to ask for help because I do not want a financial limitation to stop an opportunity that could change my life and multiply my ability to contribute. I have always believed that dreams are built through hard work, but also through people who appear at the right moment to offer a helping hand. Perhaps today, you can be part of that moment. 🌈

If this story speaks to you, I would be deeply grateful if you shared it. And if it is within your means, I warmly invite you to support me in reaching this goal so that I can begin my English program at AIIAS in the Philippines in August 2026. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to an opportunity that could mark a turning point in my life. 💖

Thank you for reading, for believing in hard work, and for being part of this journey.
