Hi everyone,

I’m starting this GiveSendGo for someone who means so much to all of us. Janet is a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend — and she is one of the strongest people you could ever meet.

A few years ago, she fought cancer with everything she had. She went through chemotherapy and surgery, and we truly believed the hardest part was behind her.

But recently, our world was shaken again — she’s been diagnosed with cancer for the second time, and this time it has returned aggressively. It has spread to her brain and throughout her body, and it’s moving fast. She is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, and she continues to show unbelievable strength through it all.

Because her cancer is rare, we are unsure if standard treatment options will be very effective. However, there is another option Janet would like to try. She can get a specialized test done through a company in the United States. This testing would analyze her cancer cells and help identify which treatments her cancer is most likely to respond to. Unfortunately, the cost for this is not covered under any insurance. 

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Specialized testing in the U.S.

• Treatment costs not covered by insurance

• Travel and related medical expenses

• Supplements and supportive care

• Lost income during treatment

Through everything, she has stayed strong — and her faith has stayed even stronger. She and her family are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support already shown.
