Rylee's nearly ten years old and never cut her hair. Anytime she's in public with her long, curly, blonde locks down she's called Rapunzel, Tangled, Goldilocks or Elsa. Time and time again strangers pay her kind compliments on her beautiful hair. Perhaps for this reason, and others, she vowed for many years to never cut her hair....until...she heard about a non-profit (Wigs for Kids) that gave kids with cancer (and other medical conditions leaving them without hair) a beautiful, natural wig. Shortly thereafter she decided she would cut off as much hair as she could and donate it so another girl could be complimented as a Disney Princess. Of course, she didn't want to stop there. She was bothered to hear a wig can cost the organization $1,800 each to make for a child (especially a wig similar to her hair she is donating). In her words, "anyone can donate hair...I want to donate $1,800 too!" It's a tall order but I told her I believe the Lord will grant her the desires of her heart. Her hair appointment is set for one week from TODAY. While she appreciates any donation she earnestly hopes to raise the FULL amount by the time her hair is cut!
