The Porfiris family is stepping forward in faith, seeking both prayer and financial support as we prepare to travel to San Juan Bible Camp to serve as part of a short-term missionary effort. We are humbled by the opportunity to come alongside the camp and minister to children who are deeply loved by God—many of whom are hearing the message of Jesus for the very first time, with approximately 40% being unchurched. Our heart is to serve in both word and action: to love intentionally, to encourage faithfully, and to create moments where each child feels seen, valued, and drawn toward the hope of Christ. As we go, we carry a desire not only to teach, but to embody the love of Jesus in everyday interactions, trusting that God will use even small moments to plant lasting seeds in young hearts. Your prayers and support will help make this mission possible and will go with us into every conversation, activity, and prayer spoken over these children.
