I am a 74 year-old woman who needs help paying her homeowner’s dues. I feel bad asking, because there are so many people who are in much more serious need than I am. I have no other options available to me. I am current on everything, but my dues. On Easter Sunday, I was served legal notice from an attorney acting on behalf of our homeowner’s association giving me 30 days, at which point they will initiate foreclosure proceedings. They are also threatening other legal fees, penalties, etc. This is a one-time request for help. I have until May 4, 2026 to come up with $5,500.00. I would be glad to answer any questions.
