Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Marcus and I am hesitant to be here but also desperate. I’m a single father of two who has sole custody due to the mother’s drug usage and the only transportation I have for their appointments now has a blown engine. I work at Taco Bell and make $14 an hour, and while it is stable employment it only brings in enough money to barely keep the bills paid. I can’t afford new clothing for myself or my children but my main concern is the transportation. If there is anybody out there willing to help. I’ve set a goal of $5,000 to be able to get a nice running vehicle that I don’t have to put a lot of money in to maintain at the moment, if this is not feasible I would also accept somebody’s vehicle that they no longer use, that’s the disparity I’m currently faced with.
