We recently packed up our family and moved to North Carolina for church — and because apparently moving from Kentucky with three kids wasn't enough excitement, we also brought about $111,000 in debt along for the ride.

Not exactly the souvenir we wanted.

Then we joked around: 111,000 people × $1 = $111,000. And we thought... that's crazy enough that it might actually be worth trying.

We're working hard, raising our family, paying our bills, and doing everything we can to dig ourselves out.

Most importantly, we're praying and trusting God to help us get out of debt and provide the way forward.

We're not expecting one person to fix everything. We just thought it would be pretty amazing to see what could happen if 111,000 people threw one little dollar at the debt monster.

Maybe it works.

Maybe it doesn't.

If God chooses to use this, we'll be incredibly thankful.

And if He doesn't, we trust Him to provide another way.

Either way, we're going to keep praying, keep working, and keep trusting Him.
