My mom, Orquidea, suffered a fall last month that led to a visit to the emergency room. Since then, her health has declined as she’s worked to regain strength in a rehabilitation facility, all while facing the challenges of dementia.

She now requires daily support with basic tasks like eating, bathing, and staying safe.

Our family is preparing for the next step—transitioning her into an assisted living or memory care facility where she can receive the consistent care and support she truly needs.

Unfortunately, the cost of care is overwhelming, often totaling several thousand dollars each month.
