Hello family and friends -
I am writing to update you on what is going on in my life and to let you all know how this past year with CR Experience and Carry the Love tour went. It was an incredible year! Last fall, I lived in Huntington Beach, California and attended intense discipleship and ministry training classes daily. Towards the end of the semester, we started going out to do ministry outreaches and practice what we had been learning. As a CR musician, I also spent much of my time playing music, practicing, writing songs, and preparing for the Carry the Love tour. I came home in December for a break and to spend Christmas with the family, but in January it was time to hit the road for the tour, which is the main ministry outreach time for Circuit Riders. Many of you already know, but on the tour, many different teams are sent out to various colleges and universities all over the United States to do ministry, which entails putting on evangelistic meetings and worship services, meeting students and developing relationships with them, and praying for them. For the first leg of the tour, I was on the Northeast team which was in Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York. During the month of March, we were in Huntington Beach, spending hours and hours every day in the studio recording new music for CR! This was a very fun and exciting time for us getting to be a part of a new EP album consisting of new songs that we have written and developed over the past year or so. The songs have been in production and should be released on iTunes very soon! For the second leg of the tour, I was on the Midwest/North team and was in Kansas, Missouri, North and South Dakota, and Winnipeg, Canada. After tour I was also able to spend time in Minnesota and Nebraska. Needless to say, I am getting to see much of the United States! Since tour ended I have been able to spend some time resting here at home in Texas. I cannot even begin to explain the incredible and amazing things that we experienced on tour. God showed up in miraculous ways and we saw literally thousands of students give their lives to Christ, get connected in local churches and on campus Christian organizations, and be healed of addictions and sin issues. We also many physical healings as well, which was awesome! Thank you for being a part of this amazing experience and supporting me as I serve Christ playing drums in worship. This past year changed my life in the best ways.
During tour I felt called to apply to be a full time missionary musician on staff with Circuit Riders. I am so honored to have been accepted to serve on staff for the upcoming year! This means that I will be moving out to California since CR’s home base and office are there. I will be helping lead and plan for the upcoming 21 Project, CR Experience and Carry the Love tour 2019. I will also continue helping write songs, play music, lead worship and spending lots of time in the studio.
You may be thinking that being full time staff means getting paid. However, this is not the case. As with any ministry or missions organization, all full time missionaries are support based. This means I will be living off of support as a full time missionary musician. This is where I need your help and prayers. Will you please pray about either continuing to support me, or starting to give financially? I am trusting God to provide at least 20 people who can commit to giving monthly for the next year. Please pray and consider giving $25, $50, $100, or $200 a month. My monthly needs will be about $1,000 with rent, food, and gas. Of course, any donation is appreciated, and if you are only able to give a one time gift, that would help us purchase items needed to outfit an apartment.
Please let me know how you can help via text, email, or social media! You can give via our online fundraising site listed below or check. If you prefer that your donations be tax deductible, you may write the check to Lifepoint Church and put my name on the memo line.
Thank you and God Bless!
