I have been given an amazing opportunity to join a group of nurses for a medical mission trip to Kabwe, Zambia. We are leaving March 14 for 2 weeks! The organization is called Nurses for Africa and partners with an organization called Hands at Work who is on the ground year round in Zambia. While there we will be:
Running a clinic and seeing patients
Making home visits
Teaching classes to local care workers on hand hygiene, prenatal care, preventive care etc
Working with a local orphanage
I have felt this calling for some time now and am very excited to get to work and see how God will work through me!
I will gladly and graciously accept any and all support you may give me both financially and prayerfully!
The funds I am trying to raise help off set my out of pocket cost for the mission.
$3900 per person which includes
Roundtrip airfare from Chicago to Zambia
Transportation while in Zambia
All meals and accommodations while in Zambia
Costs of medical supplies and medications
Travel and Emergency evacuation Insurance
Activities with village
Plus immunizations, getting to Chicago, other out of pocket expenses
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful Stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
