My name is Janaiya, I completed secondary education in 2025, after which I completed the SAT’s applying to several schools aboard to study Biomedical Sciences in hopes of becoming a Pediatric Doctor.

As a child I always knew I would do great things but I wasn’t sure what it would be until I lost my 1 year old cousin. I would look after him with my grandma while his parents were at work, he became my little best friend. He died so suddenly and his parents didn’t get the answers they needed.

I didn’t have the closer I needed as a child. I didn’t understand what happened but at that moment I knew I wanted to become a doctor, I knew I had to get some answers, some type of understanding about what went wrong with his tiny little body. What happened on the inside, what failed, what shoot down. I knew those answers would start in a classroom so I applied for all science classes in form 4 which I passed every year, leading to the application to university in hopes of fulfilling my dream of becoming the first doctor in my family.

I was accepted to St Francis College New York obtaining a merit based scholarship of $USD12,000.00 however, the annual tuition after the scholarship is paid would be USD18,000.00. I don’t come from a wealthy family and my mother is doing the best she can to help me fulfill my dreams.

I’m asking for help to cover the my fees. Any help that is given will be greatly appreciated.
