The Lord has lead me into the beautiful and wild world of birth and postpartum for women and families throughout the Greater RVA to bring God back into the equation. Birthwork is the Lord’s work. Though I have done my initial trainings for childbirth education, birth and postpartum support, this journey to improve my skills to best serve these families hasn’t ended. There are a few programs I would like to add including nutrition support (preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum), patient advocacy in the hospital setting, continued education on hospital policies, and a few more. I feel these trainings will ultimately lead to giving the families I serve what they need best: someone who trusts and understands God’s perfect design for women and babies and supports life at all stages.
