I am endeavoring to help a Christian refugee and a Missionary Doctor to immigrate legally to the US, but the resources have run dry.
It's a tragic observation that politics allow massive illegal crossing of our borders but the few attempting to follow the rules are faced with outrageous obstacles.
The missionary doctor completed an internship in civil war torn Cameroon. She applied for and received an immigration visa to the US, and had to post a large bond to assure self support. Then when traveling on a bus toward the next city's international airport, the bus was hijacked by terrorist rebels who took all her travel money for ransom and caused her to miss her flight.
The young Christian woman in Burkina Faso obtained UN Refugee qualification, then had her purse stolen and was thrown from a moving car. Bureaucrats in that country have delayed her accessing her own belongings to follow through with legal immigration herself.
Living on Social Security myself, my own resources have run dry trying to help these 2 Christian women to immigrate legally from Africa. America needs more doctors and even the refugee has skills I know will find employment quickly here. Her own testimony of being raised in a Muslim family but receiving Christ as her Savior is a blessing to hear. The doctor is a citizen of New Zealand. The refugee is a citizen of Ivory Coast. Neither has any living family to help.
$10,000 is still needed to meet government and banking fee demands that are not a negotiable expense. We need it by November 10, 2021 or upcoming expiration of documents will add much further expense and add extended delays on actions already completed.
