Hello. My name is Shauna and this is all new to me. For the last 7.5 years I’ve worked in detention health, contracting for DHS/ICE. I enjoyed my job, was helping my country. But out of nowhere I was fired. No counseling. No write up. Just fired because I didn’t scan enough papers. Now I can’t afford my insulin and I’m scared.
