I Am Faith Trusting God Through This Storm

I never imagined I would be in a place where I needed to ask for help like this… but here I am, choosing faith over fear.

My name is Faith Wilson-Norman, and I am holding tightly to the very thing my name represents.

My husband (Leon Norman) and I recently purchased our home, believing we were stepping into a new beginning. We trusted God in that decision. But almost immediately, we began facing one setback after another.

Every time we think we are taking a couple of steps forward, something happens that pushes us five to ten steps back. On the track to return from our last trip to Wyoming to get the last trailer of items to bring to our new home, we locked our self out of the truck, my husband ended up going into the hospital and nearly dying, my husband got confused and got lost on the way home. And realizing that he ever spent on money and had no money to get the rest of the way home. So I had to take off work and drive six hours to him and then back.

This week, we found out that the electrical in our kitchen needs to be completely redone. Right now, it’s not just an inconvenience—it affects our kitchen, our dining room, and even the garage where we keep our freezer. It has created a situation where basic, everyday living has become difficult.

At the same time, I continue to work full-time while also trying to care for my husband through ongoing health struggles. It has been physically exhausting, emotionally heavy, and at times overwhelming.

But through it all, I have not let go of my faith.

Sometimes when I say “I’m okay,” it’s not because everything is easy—it’s because I trust that God is with me no matter how this turns out.

There are moments where the weight of it all feels like it could permanentlybreak me… but I still believe God will make a way.

I am not asking out of entitlement. I am asking out of humility, and hope.

If you feel led to give, no matter the amount, it would help us take a step toward stability and relief during a time that has been incredibly hard.

And if you are unable to give, I ask for your prayers just as much. Prayer is powerful, and I believe God hears every single one.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for standing with us in any way you can.

With love and so much faith,

Faith and Leon Norman
