I never thought I would find myself in this position, standing at a crossroads with my beloved dog Blu. It all started when he began coughing—a persistent, disturbing sound that made me want to take away his pain instantly. The first vet visit was filled with dread as they suggested the unimaginable: lung cancer. That one sentence changed everything for us.

Blu's condition has been a rollercoaster of emotions and expenses. We’ve gone from pills prescribed by our trusted local vet, who we feared might be dismissed after hours spent discussing Blu's plight over the phone with specialists, to ultrasounds that could potentially change his treatment plan but are now financially out of reach for us.

The costs have been piling up—some covered through my limited income and savings, some not at all because I simply can’t afford them right now. But here we stand today, a dog whose energy has waned to the point where he barely eats or even plays anymore. His coughing is relentless; his eyes often sealed shut from infection. It's heartbreaking to see him struggle through these days when all he wants is some peace and comfort in life.

I am pleading for your help today because I can’t give up on Blu. He needs us, the ones who love him most. We are a team here; my family and Blu have been inseparable since we got him when I was 16 years old It's hard enough to see them suffer but even harder when you feel so helpless—when every door seems closed or locked because of money constraints.
