*We're hoping to raise $500 for the Color Oklahoma grant to plant native wildflowers along our roadside, turning a Talihina highway into a wildflower extravaganza!

*By using local species, we enhance our flora biodiversity and even reduce maintenance costs. Let’s make our roadsides beautiful - for ourselves and for travelers!

*Many thanks to CleanWorks Property Services LLC for finding and applying for this grant. They also kicked off this effort with a $1k contribution directly to Color Oklahoma so ODOT could quickly determine the perfect planting areas. Then the grant officer will order the seeds and have them sowed by the Fall. We will all see the fruits of this labor of love in the upcoming springtime : )
