Greetings in the name of Jesus,
Bless you and thank you for taking a moment to read over my request.
I am raising funds to help pay off a property tax bill that was incurred while I was serving as a missionary in Mexico. While I was in Mexico, as part of my support for my mission work, I rented my house to a ministry. I let them rent it at a low rate to help them get a fresh start. I’m sadden to say that they did not uphold their promise to pay rent regularly and they abandoned the property. I was forced to return to the United States due to a rapid deterioration of my health. I was in the early stages of kidney failure due to complications with diabetes. I have actively worked to pay off this debt. For quite a while, I worked full time. However, due to the continued deterioration of my health, I was determined to be 100% disabled and am now on a fixed income. I have been notified that because my payments are too small and because its taking too long to pay off the debt, the county will foreclose on my home and property. My home and the land it is built on have been in my family for over four generations. I would love for my grandchildren and their children to one day be able to grow up on this land too. The tax amount owed with interest is just shy of $20,000. Any help you can give no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking time to read my request and God bless you for helping!
