Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a special opportunity I've recently been given, and I'm asking for your support to make it possible.

Many of you know me from our parish community here at Saint Francis of Assisi in Castle Rock, where I've been blessed to grow up in this community. I've been an altar server for the past nine years, and I currently serve as a fourth-grade catechist. I have also had the opportunity to be a speaker for the Quinceañera girls retreat, which has been such a meaningful way for me to share my faith with others.

This parish has played such an important role in my life, and I truly love this community.

Recently, I was invited by Live Action, one of the country's largest pro-life organizations, to attend their Women's Summit in Irvine, California, this June. As some of you may know, I also create Catholic content online, which is how this opportunity came about. This event is focused on encouraging and equipping women to live with clarity, courage, and compassion, especially when it comes to defending the dignity of human life.

I am incredibly honored to have been invited, and I see this as an opportunity not only for personal growth, but also to bring back what I learn and apply it here within our parish community. My hope is to grow in my faith, gain wisdom from this experience, and use it to better serve others here at Saint Francis of Assisi.

While the event itself is covered, I will need help covering travel and lodging. Since I will be flying to California and my mom will be accompanying me, I am hoping to raise around $2,000 to cover flights, a hotel for two nights, and basic transportation and expenses. To make this more manageable, I have created two separate fundraisers, one for my online Catholic audience and one for our parish community. I've set my goal slightly higher to account for platform fees, so that I'm able to fully cover the cost of the trip.

Andrea Lister, who will receive the funds, is my mother. Since I recently turned 18 and we are traveling from Colorado to California, she will be accompanying me on this trip and helping manage all travel arrangements.

The funds raised will be used for airfare, hotel accommodations, local transportation, meals, and other necessary travel-related expenses connected to attending the Live Action Women’s Summit.

Andrea Lister will manage the funds directly and use them on my behalf to pay for flights, hotel, transportation, and all trip-related expenses.
